OUR 21 ESSENTIAL VALUES

Faith - operate in faith of what God has said from His word or by the leading of the Holy Spirit. (Heb. 11.1,3,6; Rom. 10.17)

Prayer & Fasting - Through prayer and fasting, we continuously seek God’s wisdom and direction for everything and in every decision. (Dan. 9.3; Mark 9.28-29)

Centrality of Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is the head or Chief Shepherd and the focus of the church. ALL are servants with stewardship responsibilities. (1 Cor. 1.11-13, 3.3-5)

Evangelism – partnering with the Holy Spirit in converting unbelievers of all people groups by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Mark16.14-16; Matt. 28.16-20; Luke 24.44-49; Acts 1.6-8)

Structure & Order - committed to God-ordained structure and protocol around strong Christian leadership within the church. (1 Cor. 14.39-41; Col. 2.4-6; Eph. 4.10-17)

Holiness – commandment from God that is brought about by intensifying intimacy with God, not legalism and religion. (1 Pet. 1.15-17; Eph. 4.23-24)

Authenticity – transparency (Deuteronomy 18:13; Heb. 4.12)

Integrity – do everything with godly character. (Titus 2.9-11)

Love – operate in Agape love toward members of God’s family and the world. (John 13.33-36, 15.17)

Forgiveness – operate in the grace of forgiveness as we have been forgiven. (Matt. 6.13-16)

Honor and Value Everyone – value everyone as God values them. (Titus 3.2)

Sacrifice – giving at a cost for the cause of Christ. (John 15.12-14)

Servant-hood - leading, ministering and evangelizing from a spirit of servant-hood. (Matt 24.44-47)

Unity – singleness of vision, mind, motive, speech and purpose. (Ps. 133.1-3; Eph. 2.2-4; 1 Cor. 1.10; 2 Cor. 13.11; Phillip. 1.27,2.1-3,3.16; 1 Pet 4.12)

Reconciliation – integrating, not assimilating, all cultures in the local church that brings true unity. (2 Cor. 5.14-19; Gal. 3.27-29)

Strategy - strategically purpose-driven and Holy Spirit motivated. (Prov. 20.18, 15.22, 16.9, 19.21, 21.5)

God-Inspired Creativity – utilizing all the God-given talents and creativity to their potential to bring exalted glory to God. (1 Chron. 25.1-2; 2 Chron. 2.13-14; 1 Peter 4.11; Mark 12.30)

Simplicity – communicate vision, purpose, and values with clarity. (Habakkuk 2.2)

Covenant Marriages & Strong Families – building, repairing, restoring, strengthening and maintaining strong marriages and families. (Hebrews 13.4; Psalms 127.3; Malachi 2.14-15)

Fellowship – as we grow, connect people into strong small group ministry. (Hebrew 10.24-25; Acts 2.42; 1 Cor. 1.8-9)

Stewardship – God is the owner of all the church’s resources: money, assets, members, and time. We function as stewards. (1 Cor. 4.1-3), 1 Peter 4.10)
